Fall Biophilia & Pottery Workshop

Service Description

Join Potter, Montessori educator Claire Willis & Guest Naturalist Julia Lunn of The Backyard Biophilia Project for a 2 day workshop. This workshop is for ages 3-9. Children ages 3-4 will need to be accompanied by a caregiver. Whole families are more than welcome! Only registered participants will make pottery projects, however other family members are welcome to join us on the hike. Week One We will meet for a Naturalist guided hike of a preserve, location details to be determined, observing the changing seasons and opening our eyes to designs in nature that we will be incorporating into pottery. Week 2 Meeting at Claire Willis Pottery's studio each participant will make a pottery tray or plate with natural materials found in their own backyard…leaves, grasses, flowers…What will you choose? Each person will be able to make 2 pieces of pottery to be picked up a week after the last session of the workshop. Cancelation Policy

Claire Willis Pottery does not offer refunds for cancellations made 24 hour or less before lessons except for in the case of illness or emergency. Lessons Cancellations made up to 24 before a scheduled lesson will be rescheduled without a penalty but will be subject to availability. Lessons can be rescheduled easily in your member account. Classes Classes are non-refundable, however missed classes may be rescheduled for other evenings based on availability during the session for which you registered. Missed classes are not transferrable to future sessions and may be made up only during the registered session unless arrangements have been made prior to registration.
